Public Outreach Programs
Winning and maintaining voters trust is essential to successful implementation of a capital improvement program funded by the local general obligation bond. In the absence of a comprehensive and well-thought out public outreach program, a complex facilities program can be easily susceptible to innuendo and misinformation.
TSS has worked with client districts in developing and administrating public outreach and communication programs to keep stakeholders including voters, school communities and all other interested parties abreast of the work performed and improvements made to assure them that funds provided to the district by them are being spent in a most prudent manner.
Since funding to improve, expand and modernize school facilities is needed periodically on an almost ongoing basis, school districts cannot afford to ignore the importance of maintaining voter trust. Assistance provided by TSS professionals in support of public outreach efforts can be instrumental in experiencing success in passing subsequent bond measures.
